Description
The Slate Photo Stone With Stand is a natural rock slate with a white polymer coated surface that is suitable for dye sublimation printing. It comes in a size of 150mm x 200mm and is supplied in a box with a rigid plastic stand. A clam or 3D press is required for printing, and heat resistant gloves or a towel are recommended for handling the item as it gets extremely hot during the sublimation process. The recommended instructions for printing include preheating the press to 185C, placing the slate on the lower plate with the printed side facing down, and closing the press at medium pressure for 400 seconds. After printing, the slate should be removed using a protective glove and the paper should be carefully removed.
